Encoder multiplier SB64A S1/S2
This is a board developed to split the analog output of a sine wave output encoder in order to achieve higher resolution.
The encoder multiplier (interpolator) SB64A is a board developed to split the analog output of a sine wave output encoder in order to achieve higher resolution. After splitting, the A and B phases are output as square waves. It adopts the encoder multiplier IC (SM3471AB/Seiko NPC), significantly reducing costs. The SB64A can split the A phase and B phase sine wave input signals up to a maximum of 16 times each, allowing it to be used as a 64 multiplier. The split settings are configured using DS2, with selectable values of 2, 4, 8, and 16 (multiplication). There are two types: single-ended input type SB64AS1 and differential input type SB64AS2.
